Father's Day in Rockaway

Big fun in Rockaway for Father's Day weekend. Thanks to friends of the folks, we had a great beach house to stay in, dog friendly, and a view of the ocean. A Jazz Fest was happening too. We went into town one day, saw the train, listened to some music, hit the arcade, checked out some real estate - all our normal beach activities.

The boys tried skim boarding (what we use to call "pipo boarding") - they had great success last year in Long Beach, but the boards weren't working for them this trip... think it's time for some new boards!

Here's a picture of Clark after his successful trip to the arcade. Check out the "bling" he won!

Tim and Max hitting the beach. The weather was beautiful, but cold due to the wind - if the wind had not been blowing, it would have been perfect!

Brother Brad spent the weekend with us and provided much wonderful eats. Here he is at the Jazz Fest with our friend Willie and Willie's girlfriend.

Max smiling for the camera!

Our Tahoe. He is such a good dog. He loved the beach house and had a great time with his grandparents and uncle.

Max trying the skim board one more time!
